The PRADO Slack is a service for public media development officers. It offers several different channels and gives users valuable information for their work and for their personal and professional development. Valuable answers can be found quickly by collaborating via Slack with other development officers. You may use PRADO Slack for free, but please remember that member dues make it possible. We also ask that you be a positive Slack contributor. See Slack Rules.

PRADO has helped match mentors with new development officers for more than 30 years. A good mentor can help make the first year of a new career, a new position, or dealing with expanded development duties, a much more productive process. If you would like to have a mentor, please fill out this application. Mentoring brings value to everyone involved. Mentors give back to the public media system, improve their leadership and get the satisfaction of knowing you invested in an emerging professional. Help new development officers reach their potential - become a mentor.

Each year, PRADO provides scholarships to the Public Media Development and Marketing Conference for individuals who would otherwise not be able to attend. Business organizations and individuals alike support this important fund with contributions of any amount. You can too! Give by check or by credit card, whichever method is best for you.

PRADO sponsors webinars that allows colleagues to share their experiences and learn new techniques for the important work we do. Webinars and "watercoolers" happen on Zoom. Check the #general channel in Slack for an invitation to the next session.
